DELIGHT

joy + sur + ap2

What the play is for. Joy at the game itself — arriving in person, unpriced, never wages: no charter can schedule a visit, because the engine that pays meaning was never delight's employer. Gratitude, felt from the other side of the line.

HOW IT IS TRAINED

Not trained — retrieved. It comes back out of the vault with the kid, which is why children need no instruction in it. The adult version stands on a positive charter's steady baseline and remains unearned on top of it.

NOTE & CRAFT

THE NOTE born · can be blocked, never deleted

The child's laugh at the game — fully installed at birth, nothing missing.

THE CRAFT walked · the playing is trained

Unblocking, not building. The craft is demolition: removing the billing department that priced what was free.

Two diagnostics split them anywhere: the arrival-feel — recognition (“I was this all along”) is a note unblocked; brick-by-brick is craft — and the energy test — playing the note energizes even when hard; performing an import drains even when easy. Sheet 03 →

THE COUNTERFEIT

RELIEF

The most convincing counterfeit in circulation, because it borrows delight's entire arrival — the lightness, the tears, the gratitude — while carrying none of its cargo. After years under weight, weightlessness reads as flight. And it has a structural ceiling: relief is the maximum a defensive charter can pay, by construction. A life run on don't-lose can win every hand and never be paid more than zero.

THE TELL — One question, asked in a quiet hour: is this good — or is it just not bad? Silence after years of noise sounds like music. It is not music; it is the room where music could happen.
