THE COUNTERFEIT
MONUMENT
The drive to build, pointed at being remembered instead of at what is built. Same hours, same output, sometimes the same building — but generativity is glad to be forgotten if the thing stands, and a monument is the opposite bargain: the thing may fall so long as the name stays.
THE TELL — Take your name off it. Generativity doesn't notice. The monument stops.
